Too Fat For The Chimney

Since the governments of the United States and Great Britain have called on Santa Clause to shape up and set a better example for children, I'm sharing a single by Giselle MacKenzie called "Too Fat For The Chimney" as well as the b-side - "Jingle Bells."
To remind folks of what might happen if you don't get the required vitamins and minerals, I'm sharing The Ames Brothers' "I Got A Cold For Christmas" as well as the b-side - "There'll Always Be A Christmas."
So, remember to watch what you eat...bah...just enjoy your Christmas and deal with the rest in the new year.

Wow! Again, I had no idea a picture sleeve existed for the Gisele single! And I'm not sure I knew that Ames Brothers track existed! Thanks for the shares!!!

Didn't they add that Ames Brothers track as a bonus to the CD version of "There'll Always Be A Christmas?" I could be wrong.

Yes, it does appear that the Ames Brothers tracks are on cd now. I don't know if they are the same recordings, as mine are mono from the Little Nipper series single and the cd appears to be from the stereo lp. As any fan should do, if you like what you hear, buy what is available and keep the music alive!

These are absolutely amazing! Thanks, Sanity Clause. For the purists out there (or OCD folks) the dates for these according to Goldmine are 1957 for the MacKenzie and 1954 for the Ames Brothers.
